Ships arrived, unpacking in progress
Regarding the Bedtime Story and War on the Streets Kickstarter Campaigns, as you know, both ships have arrived in Europe (one from China and one from USA). In the warehouse we have the goods from the two containers. Note that regarding the US shipment to Funagain Games, we are waiting for their report regarding receiving the games and their progress.
The containers we received include games for five campaigns:
-
Bedtime Story, for Kickstarter, Spieleschmiede and GiochixStarter
-
Raid and Trade: War on the Streets for Kickstarter and
-
Raid and Trade base game campaign on Spieleschmiede.
We have already unpacked a few pallets, but we still need quite some time to unpack the entire lot. Both games have over 10 different codes each, in a mix of painted and unpainted games and in different languages. We kindly ask you to wait a little further; if we mess up with the orders, then it will be worse.
Checking for mistakes
We have already checked a couple more times our backers list. A few mistakes were found mostly from the latest changes in addresses. Another example is that today we were informed that there are some missing Cora boxes. For that we have in our minds two different solutions:
-
Send to all backers a big or small pack (depending on the order) and if there is anything missing, send it later, as soon as we receive it, or
-
Wait for a fast shipment with what is missing from both our manufacturers.
We want to move with the first solution, so most backers receive most of the pledged rewards and not lose more time. We are trying to work as fast as we can, but at the same time we know that both warehouses fulfill games from other publishers as well.
In any case, we are onto this and we have control of the goods in the warehouses; however we thought that it is fair to inform you about our current progress. We are not trying to avoid, ignore or forget anything. In such a complex production, we were pretty sure that we will find missing pieces or mistakes by the factories, but certainly there is nothing that it can’t be fixed.
Notification for shipments
Normally when we start shipping the packages out to each backer, you will receive an automatic e-mail from the warehouses’ online system. We repeat once more that this online system sometimes has glitches and does not send to some backers auto e-mails. Regardless that, we will make sure to send a message to each one of you.
We want to clear this out: we have the games but we need more time to separate this huge amount of products and orders. If you have any questions – although we believe we have covered every aspect- you can certainly drop a comment here or send a message to our e-mail magecompanyinfo@gmail.com
In order to avoid further delays in the future, we decided to run campaigns only on Kickstarter and not other platforms, plus we will try to deliver all products and stretch goals in one or two boxes maximum.
