Aether Captains: Action Cards Update and additional info. As long the production of Aether Captains is in progress, it gives us the chance for a new update. Below you will be able to check the final Action cards:
It is easy to separate the Action cards among the players based on special characteristics. Those with the purple cube and the orange cube as well on the left are for the Navy Commanders (1-2 players). These cards also mention the corresponded ship they fit. That’s not all. Inside the white circle you can see how many Action Points an Action card costs. On the right side there is numbering sequence of the Action cards. This way you know how many Action cards are corresponded to each Navy Commander’s ship.
On the other side we have the Action cards for the pirates. The base game includes 6 different pirate dice-ships, twice each. For each dice-ship there are some standard corresponded cards of different abilities (see the one with the question mark in the white cube) but also there are some unique Action cards this dice-ship has and you can separate them since on the left side of those cards, you see the actual dice-ship and the name of it.
This update is not over yet. Here is the best part of the game. The pirate sheets mention those special Action cards and the cards differ if you use a dice-ship as a flagship or as support ship. The above image shows Zomby Strike. When a player chooses that sheet, then Zomby Strike works as their flagship and in that case the special Action card for that dice-ship is the card “Repair x2”.
In few words we separated better the Action cards, we made some unique for the dice-ships, we added less but more useful information on the players’ sheets and the final combination will also adds to the game replayability.
