MAGE Company was following a specific way to ship out Kickstarter rewards and online orders so far. The last year we faced several issues regarding shipping and the delays were unavoidable for most of the customers with pending orders. These delays created frustration to most of the customers and after the announcement of Funagain that they will close we had to re-organize our shipping methods.
Regarding US and Canadian customers, we will keep working with Funagain games. We work with the specific vendor the last few years and lately we received an announcement that they will remain in business as Funagain Logistics. Kickstarter pledges and rewards, copies and gifts for supporting US and Canadian conventions will be shipped by Funagain but only for US and Canada. However there will be future project of ours that will be dispatched directly from MAGE Company’s offices in Athens, Greece.
Regarding EU countries and the rest world, most of MAGE’s stock will be kept in Athens Greece where our offices are located. Board games and accessories. The current stock of sleeves is located in the warehouse of Gamesquest in UK but the new shipments will come directly in Greece and will be stored in our warehouse. This way we will have full control of our goodies, there will be a perfect quality control and there will be no issues with delays on deliveries. Our co-opearation with Happyshops in Germany will continue mostly for group orders such as a Kickstarter campaign and will include mostly the EU countries.
We will use the warehouse in Greece to ship out online orders, big packages, replacement/spare parts, retail orders, any wrong packages and specific pledges from our KS campaigns. Our warehouse will be the main shipping “port”. This way we will keep the shipping fees at a descent level for most customers. We are already working with ELTA the Greek post services and they are quite successful on their deliveries. Around mid summer we will open the warehouse near to our offices and we will bring any remaining stock of games and sleeves to us. Our priority is to control our stock level on different titles, provide a high quality control on incoming shipments, deliver pending orders on time and provide a quality customers support.
In each product’s page we have posted info regarding the delivery time of the packages via ELTA and so on.
